This designation is endorsed by NMSDC and its corporate members and ensures that a company demonstrates level 1 cyber readiness. The readiness level aligns with U.S. Department of Defense Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level 1 (CMMC) that has been set forth for all Defense Industry Partners (DIB) allowing the MBEs a greater opportunity to compete for federal and state contracts.
